The Hazrat Imam Complex, also known as the Hast Imam Square, serves as a significant religious and spiritual hub in Tashkent. Widely regarded as the heart of the Muslim community in the city, Hast Imam stands amidst an old town neighborhood consisting of adobe houses that withstood the 1966 earthquake. It is situated in close proximity to the tomb of one of the earliest imams of Tashkent, a renowned scholar of the Quran and Hadiths, as well as a poet and craftsman named Hazrati Imam, known by his full name Abu-Bakr Muhammad Kaffal Shashi.Within the grounds of Hast Imam, several noteworthy architectural structures can be found.
